Today felt great. We as a family got some great rest and we were up early and on time ready to serve and receive God's word today. It was my first daly back on the prayer team and I must say I am aligned with the new direction our church is taking with the prayer and healing team.
I thank our father for allowing me the opportunity to serve alongside my brothers and sisters today. If you've served at least once in your life you know the feeling of just being involved with God's plan and healing over others life. There's just something about being obedient and fulfilling God's prophetic word as a vessle.
After service we went to Isaiah's favorite place. Truland! There's a little waterfall write next to Trueland where the kid's like to walk the stairs and walk around. Jokingly if 10 minutes of free time is all it takes to make them this happy then I'm all for it.
I've been reflecting lately about the areas of improvement I can make as a father and husband to serve my family. I've decided that I would like to really look into each day one day at a time and simply seek out opportunities to serve my family more. To me this can be anything from saying yes where I'd normally say no, or just simply put down what I'm doing and serve my family when they need it.
Over the next few weeks I'm going to experiment with this plan and reflect on the pros and cons. Being an analytical thinker of course makes me prone to wanting to track and document everything I do so I've developed a simple point system where I'm just going to give myself 1 point for each of these things I do. This is also not limited to just family but also includes friends, strangers etc.
I'll report back in a few weeks on how I think this experiment went. But for now I hope you and your family had a blessed day.
~ God Bless
