Everyday we are challenged with the reality that everyone is different. We often engage in disagreements simply because each of us have an infinitely unique way of processing information. Knowing your purpose in life is extremely important to your growth in life and the challenges you navigate.
We all have a choice to engage or disengage when faced with challenging circumstances. Where we are in our walk with God certainly has an impact on the way we choose to navigate those challenges.
So the question remains, What is your purpose in life? God has a plan for each and everyone of us. It is the gift that we have been given since birth. But the truth is we all share a common goal in our purpose of life as it relates to God. We all have the inclination to do God's work, grow the kingdom, seek out and find the lost. It is the true reason God sent his only son. Jesus came here to seek out and find the lost. He spent 33 years of his life doing just that.
As a Christian it is my duty to spend my life serving God. Helping others in any way that I can. Seeking out God's will and fulfilling that purpose here amongst my brothers and sisters in Christ. Armed with this knowledge and the authority of Jesus Christ by way of the Holy Spirit we are able to focus on our true purpose of existence.
Knowing that my purpose in life is to seek out God's will and a relationship with him I know that this takes time and consistent pressing in to obtain a deeper relationship with God. When I'm faced with challenging relationships and disagreements I have to ask myself in that moment, Is the result of the conversation or relationship fulfilling my purpose in life?
Know that every minute we spend engaging in adverse relationships and communication is a minute away from fulfilling our purpose in life. We only have so much time given to us in this life and every minute and second of each day is carefully calculated apart of God's plan.
So when we're faced with challenges, life, people, relationships, etc. we have to carefully consider if the time and energy spent on those situations are justifiably contributing to our purpose in life.
Spend your time and energy wisely. Invest in growing people, helping the poor, growing your own faith, improving life so that you can be an example for those that are around you. Each of our lives are a testimony and chapter in God's book. After all he has planned your life from beginning to end. Grow your relationship with God so that you can unlock the gifts that he has placed within you. Utilize those gifts to grow the kingdom.
This is my purpose in life. I am forever grateful to have such an amazing father who knows my strengths and my weakness. We are so blessed to have a savior who dedicated his life to showing us through actionable testimony how to live life through God's plan. It's simply up to us to follow that plan and grow our relationship with God.
