Never could I have imagined that sending you off to preschool would be so heavy on my heart yet it brings me much joy. Watching you embrace a new adventure and take on preschool this week has been an enjoyable experience.
You've now completed your first week of school and not only did you have a great time but you were also selected as Star of the Week. I can't tell you how proud mom and I are of this great accomplishment. Your teacher Mrs. Cindy has been very kind and has faithfully sent us pictures of your activities each day.
Here is a list of all the fun things you've done this week:
- So far your favorite activity is to play outside
- You've made a great friend named Malachi
- You told mom and I that you like Mrs. Cindy so much that you wish you could go home and visit her
- You are on the green team and love wearing your green t-shirts to school
- Your school t-shirt is a little big on you so we have to tuck it in to keep you from swimming in it
- You learned how to draw the letter L
- You learned that lizzard, legs, lamp and love all start with the letter L
- You drew a picture of our family using shapes
- You learned how to spell your name
- You love taking your own lunch to school
- You've done such a great job finishing all of your Lunch
- You are doing such an awesome job getting ready for school, eating breakfast and heading out the door on time
- You usually take a nice long nap after school
- You usualy spend about 30 miniutes telling mom and I everything about your day, which we are eagerly waiting to hear
- When you grow up you would like to be a fire fighter and an uncle (we'll see about that)
Isaiah, I just want you to know that we are so proud of you and we love you so much. You make us happy with your motivation to learn. Not a day goes by that you do not fill your curiosity with questions and/or trying something new.
